“Controlled and thoughtful, Pigs, Bears and Billy Goats Gruff is also the kind of subtle, funny stuff that contains enough traditional tale-telling to intrigue both children and the parents who take them to it. This is the stuff to gently nurture imaginations…”
About the performance
The company who rocked Wellington with Sharon, Keep Ya Hair On in 2007 are back. Following hit seasons on Broadway, New York and Australia, this laugh-out-loud production will delight children and adults alike as its quirky characters break free from their fairy tales to ask “Why do things always happen in threes?.”
Re-creating some of the most loved children’s stories ever told, this wonderfully surprising production sees a table become a troll-inhabited bridge and rubber gloves transform into spectacular frog’s feet while porridge-eating bears dine, clever pigs plan and blue frogs talk!
