School Programme : Week 1
During the week the Festival offers education programmes for children aged 3-14. Schools and early childhood services are invited to come for a full day programme including free lunchtime entertainment or choose a half day or single performance option.

The Capital E National Arts Festival 2005 provides strong links to many strands of the National Curriculum, including Art, English, Social Studies, and much more. Shows targeted at early childhood offer links to Te Whaariki. All of the performances offer resource materials for use before and after the Festival.
FREE EARLY BIRD BUS OFFER
FOR BOOKINGS RECEIVED BEFORE 1ST FEBRUARY 2005
Capital E will arrange free buses for groups of over 35 students, from Wellington, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, Wainuiomata, Eastbourne & Porirua. For schools and early childhood services outside the area, Capital E will provide $120 travel subsidy per school/ECS. Call us on 04 913 3742 to arrange.
TICKETS
Tickets are heavily subsidised by Wellington Museums Trust and Wellington City Council, offering up to 60% off the public price. In addition, one free adult ticket for every 10 children booked or for every 4 children with special needs.

ASSISTANCE FUNDING
WINTON AND MARGARET BEAR CHARITABLE TRUST FESTIVAL FUND
Schools with a deciles rating of three (3) or below and ECS that receive equity funding are able to access this fund to receive school programme tickets for half price (only $6.00) for a full day programme. And remember you could also be eligible for a free bus from Capital E!
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. 1000 tickets to a day-long education programme at the Capital E National Arts Festival are available.
2. Bookings from eligible schools and ECS received before Friday 15th January 2005 will automatically go into a draw.
3. We will notify Schools/ECS on Monday 17th January 2005 of whether they have been allocated funding.
4. The deciles rating or equivalent must be completed on the Festival booking form to be eligible and must be in-line with the New Zealand Ministry of Education published ratings.
5. Funding will be given based on the numbers of students communicated on the booking form received. Funding is not available for any increase in the number of students.
6. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence shall be entered into.
If your school/ECS receives funding and doesn't need all the allocated tickets, please advise us so we can give other schools/ECS the opportunity to come to the Festival.
