Stealing Games, 2009 national tour
Capital E National Theatre for Children is pleased to present an exciting new production, written by acclaimed New Zealand playwright Gary Henderson, ideal for 8 - 12 year olds.
Stealing Games is a compelling theatrical experience, dealing with the privatisation of children’s play. For tour dates and booking information please click here.
In Stealing Games private playgrounds are built and children’s own communities come under threat. We follow the story of four young people facing moral and personal challenges for the first time, and watch them successfully defend their right to have a say.
Gary Henderson’s exciting new play explores themes especially relevant to Values and Key Competencies and the Health and Physical Education, Social Sciences and Arts learning areas.
